Abstrakt
Chrześcijaństwo i islam były obecne w Etiopii od wczesnych wieków ich istnienia (chrześcijaństwo od IV wieku, a islam od VII). Celem niniejszego artykułu, który jest kontynuacją pierwszej części opublikowanej w poprzednim numerze „Afryki”, jest analiza wspólnych i odrębnych przestrzeni islamu i chrześcijaństwa w Etiopii. Wspólna historia obu tych religii w tej części Afryki jest długa i bogata w wydarzenia. Analiza dotyczy historii i zwyczajów życia codziennego i jest przeprowadzona z uwzględnieniem czynnika etnicznego, politycznego i kulturowego.
